Part 1 教案设计
Teaching Aims: 1. Knowledge Aim: to know about the Human Development Report 2. Skill Aim: to improve reading ability through various activities and practice in class. 3. Learning Strategy: to acquire techniques to do reading comprehension such as skimming、 note-taking and word-guessing. 4. Cultural Awareness: to learn about the difference between the developing countries and developed countries 5. Emotion and Attitude: to get a better understanding of the social development in the world and arouse students’ sense of responsibility for our society Teaching Important Points: 1. to understand the text in detail 2. to master the key words and expressions in the text and use them in practice Key words and expressions: effort, improve, human development report, increase, measure… Teaching Difficult Point: to talk about the difference between the developing countries and developed countries Teaching Methods: 1. task-based approach 2. team-work learning Teaching Aids: multimedia and blackboard Teaching Procedures: Step 1. Lead-in: Oral composition, to make up a composition with the title “Problems for the developing countries”, using the following words: developed country, developing country, disease education, hunger, income, poverty… Step 2. Pre-reading (Activity 3 on page 13) Fill in the blanks with the following words: effort, encourage, goal, human development report, improve, increase, leader, list, measure, reduce 1. While-reading Task one: Skimming (Activity 1 on page 12) Skim the text and answer these questions. 1. What did world leaders agree to do in 2000? 2. What does the Human Development Index measure? 3. What are the first two Development Goals? 4. What progress have we made towards these goals? 5. What do developed countries need to do? Task two: Scanning and Form filling (Activity 2 on page 13) Scan the text and fill in the form. Part 2 教学反思
本堂课能有效完成教学目标, 并成功实现了重点突破和难点化解。 本堂课以文本为中心 进行阅读教学,以填空、回答问题、填写表格等多种阅读练习形式做到学生在阅读实践中培 养阅读能力。 教学中有待完善之处为,在阅读教学的实施过程中,有些学生阅读速度很快,而有些学 生在规定时间中完成不了。因此,教师应注意关注不同层次学生的学习状况,使每个学生都 能学有所得。

Part 3 专家点评
这节阅读课很顺畅,一气呵成。教师对于课堂和学生的把握很到位,因此设计的环节与 步骤实施起来十分顺利。整个教学思路清晰明朗,结构安排合理,且重点突出,条理清楚。 阅读材料和活动能在一定程度上的激发学生兴趣, 使学生乐于自主参与, 与第一课时形成呼 应。此外教师能够很好的进行读前,读中和读后的各项活动,对于重点词语和短语进行了强 调和举例,增强学生记忆效果。同时,教师对于学生学习策略的培养也十分符合新课改的理 念,做到了教师为主导,学生为主体,重视任务型教学。 点评人:尹倩
