Part 1 Analysis of the Teaching Material

STATUS AND FUNCTION
This is an allegoric story. It comes from the Grace fable《The tale of Aesop》.Altough it is very short and easy to understand , we can get a profound truth. It also can help the students to set a proper value.

TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDS
Knowledge and ability objectives

1. To make the students know the text meaning,especially to study some new words and phrases .
2. Let the students get to know the true meaning of《The fox and the grapes》. 3. To make the students can use the present continuous tense correctly.

TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDS 教学目标与要求 (2)
Ability Objects 1. To improve students’ ability of getting information through reading. 2. To develop students’ ability of expressing their own opinions in English.

Moral Objects

1. To enhance the students the awareness to set a proper values. 2. To be hardheaded, do not selfdeception in our lives.

1. To study the new words/sentence patterns and grammar. 2. Help the students understand the whole text. 3.To let them read and act the story ,in order to train their spoken English .

Read the passage carefully ,then answer these questions: 1.What is the fox doing? 2.What is the crow doing? 3.What are they talking?

Rules:

Three students as one group ,you can choose your partners freely to act this story. ★Sa:Introduce the detail of this story . ★Sb:Act the fox. ★Sc:Act the crow. At last , let's choose the best group together as our super star in this period . I will give them some present in reward.
