1. Think about the following questions while enjoying some famous pictures about cultural relics. ① What is a cultural relic? ② Does a cultural relic always have to be rare and valuable? Is it enough to have survived for a long time? ③ Are cultural relics only objects like vases or can they be buildings too? 2. Discussion All these cultural relics are quite beautiful. But because of wars, natural disasters and time, a lot of cultural relics were lost or ruined in history, such as Yuan Ming Yuan, The Great Wall, and The Pyramid. Some of them were even stolen. Discuss with your partner what are good ways to protect cultural relics from being destroyed or stolen and whether it is worth rebuilding Yuan Ming Yuan. Please list out your ways and reasons.
