Unit 4 Teamwork (Ⅱ) Reading and Writing

Teaching Procedures: Step Ⅰ. Greetings Greet the whole class as usual. Step Ⅱ. Related Information 1. What Is teamwork? Teamwork is the concept of people working together cooperatively, as in a sports team. Projects require that people work together, so teamwork has become an important concept in organizations. Effective teams are an intermediary goal towards getting good, sustainable results. Industry has seen increasing efforts through training and cross-training to help people to work together more effectively and to accomplish shared goals, whether colleagues are present or absent. A team is not just a group of individuals who work at the same location or have the same logo on their business card. A real team is made up of people who may be unequal in experience, talent, or education, but who are equal in their commitment to working together to achieve the goals and good of the organization, each other and their customers. Step Ⅲ. Reading Read the text quickly, and then decide the following statements are true or false? Then check the answers.

Writing— Resume 简历 简历包括:个人信息(姓名、地址和通讯方式等) 、求职目的、学历、工 作经历、能力、荣誉和证明人等。 写作特点:简历的语言应言简意赅,句子短小精悍,常用无主句或词组 或短语表达。按时间的顺序写出学历和经历,也可按由近及远的顺序把 最近的时间放在前面。 Useful expressions 1. Resume/ Curriculum Vitae 2.
